I probably should point out that the 51 subscribers I mentioned represents
only a small portion of the magazines we sell per issue.  Most people, for
whatever reason, only buy an issue at a time.even though it's cheaper to
subscribe.  We usually end up selling between 250-300 magazines per
issue.and that's why we can afford to stay afloat.  Still.the subscription
number is none-the-less appalling.

We yearly produce 4 issues of the magazine, now for the 4th year. 
Before that our magazine was an electronically distributed version. The 
magazine is printed on 100 grams paper, full color and in easily 
readable print. We only have 3 advertisers. Their contribution to 
lessening the cost is minor, less than the production cost of one 
single issue.

Our club counts 76 members. 
All members get their quarterly magazine as part of their membership.
The cost for printing and mail is aprox. 60% of the membership fee.
Nevertheless we would not revert to a digital version.

My opinion: Keep it printed hard-copy.
