Thanks guys for your replies to my post. As you suggested I would very
much rather leave the car parked during the winter, and boy-does it
need it; it needs oil change, my hood cable just broke and a few other
minor things that need to be fixed so with it in the garage for the
winter would be great. But unfortunately, I have no option as my other
means of transportation is being used by my wife and my third car
needs a carburetor. I only drive it on days of no snowfall, and leave
it parked on days it is storming. If I have to take it out with snow
on the ground-I do find that the DeLorean isn't bad in my opinion, and
I find it better than my Nissan Altima in the snow; the Altima can't
make it up my driveway while my DeLorean doesn't even spin a wheel.
The only reason it was spinning was because it was the intentional-on
the ice in a wide open area-fun. Nonetheless, thanks again guys, my
mind is at ease-I was dreading another transmission rebuild! -----Dani
