Ive found this 'headlight switch saver kit' very easy to install with
the great installtion instructions. Not sure what the difference is
between this kit and other ones that some vendors supply but this is
the one i have been reccomending and ive not heard of any bad reports
on it.

the phone with John a couple of times because the instructions vary
depending on the build of the car. Mine was, of course, the other
build. The LEDs will reduce the current through the switch thereby
reducing the potential for heat. Barring a short in the wiring
somewhere else they should reduce the potential for switch problems.
