Not to sound argumentative, but I hope that John has clarified his 
instructions for ALL cars.  At the time I bought my saver unit from 
John, I installed it and it did not work and actually stopped my 
headlights from operating as they should.   I ended up having to remove 
it and tossed it out as I was given no direction on how to make it 
function as advertised.

Please understand this is not a slam but rather a fact. I hope John is 
now able to guide EVERY car owner through installation of his product.

The LEDs will reduce the current through the switch thereby reducing the 
potential for heat. Barring a short in the wiring somewhere else they
