The caps just pop right off. The only thing that holds them in place 
securely is when the CV Joints are bolted into place. Just take a 
screw driver and a mallet and tap away at the edges until it pops 
off. The rear collar (where the big end of the boot clamps to) also 
come off like the front cap. Can make it a lot easier to clean out 
all that old grease.
