I bought my DeLorean new from a Porsche dealer and when I bought it he had a
lot full of '81 and '82 DeLoreans . On the show floor was a Black DeLorean
that the dealership had painted to see if that would enhance sales. I think
it would be in the same catagory as conversion vans as far as being accepted
as a completly stock DeLorean. I don't think one could consider it factory
original.
