Well, if you installed a Porsche 915 transmission like I did, instead of using that awful Renault shift linkage design you would not have that problem. I installed a Porsche 915 in 2006, and have never had a problem with the pivot bolt. My engineering is much better than Renault, Lotus, or DeLorean, so do what I did or your car sucks. While you are at it, might as well install the VQ35 engine too. Get rid of that annoying fuel system, and ignition distributor. I never have to replace my spark plug wires, and neither should you!! What were they thinking?! Who uses spark plug wires!!! <In case you missed it, I am being sarcastic> --- On Thu, 3/22/12, gmfm1@xxxxxxxxxxx <gmfm1@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I was only towed off > the road once when I broke a bolt in the shifter and was > stuck in second gear. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
