Hi Pete. You will probaby get a zillion responses to this. My car has the same thing you describe, exactly. I was told by the Pres. of the Pacific Northwest DeLorean club, that if you are having no problem....disregard these extra wires. He said that John Zachary in his infinite wisdom in designing and building the cars, opted to use a ready made wiring harness...and the one he chose was the Jaguar....so any extras are not needed and that was the reason they were tie wrapped.... so we could not accidentally plug them in!
