In addition to that, I now know that the engines ( and gear boxes) from the cars scrapped my Woller-Hodec also were sent back to the factory, to be re-used. Yours is liable to be a very early engine Darren, being an original RHD. However, the engines appear to have been installed in the engines in a random order. Other than having a warranty card or original window sticker for your car, there appears to be no quick way to cross-reference the VIN and the engine number.
