Interesting about the dates on the doors. Though it stands to reason that they might have had later doors fitted as the early doors were such a poor fit. Normally after the X is the key code, which yours wouldn't necessarily have if the doors were replaced...pure guessing though in the absence of any more information. I just added a couple of photos to the doc-uk yahoo groups site of a couple of the doors here from the warehouse in Texas. They show the "RB&KS" initials, and in fact, have the same date on one of them. These are completed door, with VIN's written on them that for one reason or another never made it onto the car. Note the one is V20104, the supposed second to the last one made (V20105 being the gold car).
