Michael, Yes , Basically we normally have a small indicator repeater mounted on the back end of the front wing (fender). We don't normally have "yellow" lights permanently on with our side lights or head lights. Although commercial vehicles do. With the DeLorean most people change the rear red side marker for a yellow one, (as on the front), then re-wire them so that they both flash with the indicator ( turn signal). I had to do this re-wiring on Dusty because it had been quite finished by Woller- Hodeck, indeed it still had the original American style rear lights as well. If you do this conversion , you will of course do away with you permanent yellow side markers,( unless you go in for some fancy relays) as there is not room for a double filament bulb in the holder. I did source and supply one American fellow with a pair of small yellow repeater lamps , very similar to my original fitment on Delores ( see website) www.delorean.co.uk and he fitted them in addition to the original ones. It did mean cutting two 3/4 " holes though! I would like my DeLoreans' side marker light to "blink" when I use the turn signal, as I was almost sideswiped on the motorway.
