& all I don't
think that it is the servo now and more the Master cylinder. The
symptoms I'm getting are If I
jump on the brakes I get a hard pedal and the car stops. If I then keep my foot
on the pedal it sinks to the floor. release the pedal and brake hard again I
get the same hard pedal then the sinking feeling. If I'm
in traffic and just trying to slow the car to stay with the pace i.e. gentle
pedal, I get no hard pedal at all just the bite at the very bottom of the
travel, NOT an nice feeling I can tell you. Based
on that description would you agree it's the Master cylinder not the servo? cheers Paul www.paul.salsbury.btinternet.co.uk -----

Servo Hi Paul, My servo went
about a year back,Dave howarth couldn't cross it over at all. So I got a
new one,but on the dmc site I see the seals are for sale again now or maybee
not? I would say
the match for it from the scrapyard is ford cortina mk 2 I think the first
batch with the square headlights,I did see one once and it looked the
same, after I got my new one of course! What is the
servo doing then, Pulling down
to the floor when you lightly touch the pedal? Bye for now
Paul Heymeson Vin 741.
