I don't think anyone else has reported any problems getting the discount rate of $129.  It is possible that your selection of room (King? Double?) may be sold out.  Someone reported yesterday that there were only 2 rooms left with double beds, they may be gone now.  I would estimate over 400 room nights have been sold at the $129 rate, so stating that the price is wrong is not true. 

Last time it was discussed, DeLoreans get free parking.  If you fly in and decide to rent a car (Your option-  it is not needed, plenty of Disney transit is available) then the hotel will charge $10 per day for parking.  This hotel is on Disney property, and a small additional price to pay *IF* you rent a car. 

This is a RESORT area, and with that in mind the prices are quite reasonable.  They are also in line with past DCS shows, which you have attended. 

I hate to say this, but if you think it is too expensive then maybe this convention is not for you.  We have an expectation that attendance this time around will be lower than in the past due to the location and economy, and have planned accordingly.  So far, hotel reservations have been an indicator that this DCS will be bigger than expected.
