I just tried to make a reservation for the DCS Car show.  They said the room rate was not $129 per night, it was $149 per night plus taxes etc. 

The actual room cost is $169+ per night with taxes. 

In addition, if you have a car, they charge $10 per night to park your car. 

So the real cost per night is almost $180.00.

This is no bargin.  The room cost for 3 nights WITHOUT the show registration will be almost  $540!!

Add in registration and meals and you are now talking over $700.

Add in airfare and you are talking about $1000 to attend this show. 
This is a lot of money in tough economic times.
