Not taking sides here, but Comparing a 30 year old compressor that has been installed in a car, with freon in the system for all that time is NOT a good comparison to one that has been sitting in a warehouse, that (possibly) has had it internals exposed to the air all that time. If the NOS compressors are still "sealed" then, it is not as big of an issue. --- On Sat, 6/4/11, Jake Kamphoefner <jakekamp@xxxxxxx> wrote: > My 30-year-old compressor is still working just fine, and > it has been in a lot > worse environment than a warehouse (namely, my engine > bay). ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
