Re: [DML] Re: A/C Hose Repair Question

Hervey's splice kits are great. You will have to cut the end off the old hose to remove it from under the frame, or remove the body from the frame, I prefer the first one. The new hoses have a coupling in the center, you feed the long end through the frame and then attach the two pieces. Make sure you check the orintation of the end fittings because the coupling is pulled back into the frame when you connect the end pieces and you can't get to it then.

Speaking of splice kits, has anyone installed Hervey's spliced AC
hoses? I am getting ready to do some AC work and am thinking about
replacing my AC lines. I am going to test for leaks next week and am
thinking about replacing with his lines if I have any leaks. They
  look so easy to install.

Therefore, does anyone out there know the inside diameter / hose number of the low side hose?
