I got a chuckle myself as well when I watched the clip. I was wondering if anyone else from NJ had seen the car before. Hoping maybe he frequents British Car Shows in our area. I would like to show up with a few Deloreans and enlighten him :)

During the 70's and 80's many cars had the "wedge design" , even Triumph (TR7 I think). It seems the design it was very popular and I cannot believe that one influenced the other. I believe that the term I would use for claims like the one made by others to have inspired the Delorean is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Looks like the guy is form NJ. Anyone seen this car before? Here is a video clip of the segment. It shows up at about 1:55 second into the clip.
