Dave,
that seems to be right. And I am not sure if the hole in the control
arms can be made larger. In the hole there is a bulge which is rubbing
the shocks. The bulge seems to be related to the hole through which
the stabilizer is mounted to the control arm.
So I will give the Eibach setup the preference and go back to control
arms that are known to work with Eibach springs.
