Bill, I really do not want to 'get into it' with you, but for the sake of new owners, 99% of them do not want a car with the additions or fixes you have done, they in fact want OEM or remanufactured parts. When restoring a car this way, they will find out the 20K 'rule' still stands, and is probably more like a $25K rule by now. You are definitely out there, which is not a bad thing. In fact I think most people enjoy reading about the things you have done because it is entertaining. You can do anything you want to do with your car, but to tell people the 20K rule is a myth or overrated just because you have found ways to fix things for pennies that few would find an acceptable fix is not the kind of thing that is helpful to other owners. I hope you understand what I am trying to get across. You can have my eLorean when you pry my cold dead fingers off its steering wheel. BTW: Not all owners have $20K to drop into an automobile, DeLorean or therwise. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
