Re: DeLo steering: remember also that we do not have any sort of
flexible coupling in the column -- just a rubber grommet in the
firewall (more quality DMC engineering?). Every imperfection in the
road is transferred directly to the steering wheel. I find it
especially noticeable on asphalt that has gotten hot & rutted by
trucks in the right hand lane. You'd think the lugs nuts were loose (I
actually stopped & checked the first time I encountered the
sensation). A simple lane change now confirms everything is OK with my
fine little ride.
Re: DeLo power steering: With stock exhaust, is there any place to
mount a belt driven pump? (Volvo uses the lower left corner for its
alternator mount).
