Are you sure he wasn't talking about the auto trans?
I can tell you that 300ft-lbs and over 300hp is way too much in a
DeLorean, IMO
I don't know what power Legend managed to extract from a 2.8 odd-fire
but I -can- tell you that the Venturi 260 pushed 260hp and 298ft-lbs of
torque.... and the transmission in this one, currently at my workshop,
is perfectly okay after 80,000 miles :-)
