Maybe someone can help me, in replacing my rear windshield, I just notice that the two metal hinges that raises and lowers the louver actually makes contact with the rear windshield, i.e., slamming the louver down could damage the rear windshield, or bouncing metal on the glass could damage the windshield. I'm I missing a piece? Should there be some type of part to keep this metal from contacting the glass? This might explain why the windshield busted the first time.
