[DML] Re: Louver hinges Resting on Rear Windshield

Something is installed wrong. The hinges should not be near the
glass, and if they are touching it, it will eventually break. Best
thing it to take a close look at another car or get some detail
photos. I can't imagine what's wrong but somehow the hinges are not
attached to the louver in the correct orientation.
Interesting to note - if you have the louver off the car, it's
possible to break the rear glass by simply dropping the hinge against
it. It's like a glass cutter....
