Nathan, The only one I normally replace is the vacuum switch because of
moving parts that are 25+ years old and the movement is inside is governed
by coolant. Correct on the sensors. I don't think I have ever seen a bad
one. But, I do take them out B4 U take the coolant pipe loose because they
are so hard to get loose, then clean the probe end use some Teflon tape and
replace them.

Subject: [DML] Sensors under manifold
Hello all,
Since the intake is off my car and I have easy access to the valley of
death I was wondering how likely it is that any of the sensors on the
internal water pipe need replacing. I have confirmed that the vacuum
switch works. I have heard that the two sensors have no moving parts
and don't usually fail. Has anyone out there experienced these
failing? I don't want to spend money on parts that aren't broke but I
also don't what to take the manifold off again for a long while!
Nathan
