Does water jacket extend that far south? If not, what is source of coolant? I was under impression you had ruled out head gaskets (Message #33328). Let us know how cam removal/replacement goes. I've messed with overhead valve, but never overhead cam. Watch that timing! BTW: PRV being so susceptible to vacuum leaks throughout, what is effect of loose lower crankcase assembly?
