Warm up regulator electrical supply

Hi,

I have checked out my warm up regulator and found that the 
inside is burnt out !!

Before I place a new one on the car I would like to check the 
power input to this to make sure everything is correct as these
are not cheap items...

Does anyone have instructions on how to do this ??
