I don't know about a Pantera gullwing, but a friend of mine in
town has a Pantera kit car where the whole top lifts up and
off (exactally like the Batmobile), and this serves as the door. In 
fact we would drive around town and it was really fun seeing his
car and mine together and looking at people's reactions anytime
we pulled in somewhere or sat infront of my house. We called 
ourselves the "Exotic Door Car Club". :) (Unfortunately he recently 
moved to San Fran and I don't see him as often.) Yes it was a kit
car, as I believe the original Pantera (1960s something) is
a very rare and expensive model, but I would still love to have it
too. 

As far as stress fractures on gullwings go, I would like to know
about this too, as I often hear a bit of a poping or cracking when I
open my door and I'm wondering if something is going out.
