RE: [DML] Parking Brake Handle



Willie,

This is usually due to the rubber boot over the brake handle. If you remove
it, the handle will probably lay flat. If so you may be able to modify the
boot to get the desired results.

In my case, I discovered that there is no "notch" at the end of the brake
handle travel. In fact, there is an "anti-notch" that tends to push the
handle back up a bit. So when I had my brake handle out of the car, I
introduced him to Dr. Dremel and <poof> it sits flat! I had to cut really
close one of the mounting screws but it could be done.
