[DML] waterpump hoses

I've heard of the two main waterpump hoses tend to go out and that is a
major cause of coolant leaks. I looked at those hoses today and they
don't leak. the leak seems to be coming from under my waterpump. I
noticed in the manual that there is a hose in back of the waterpump. 
does that hose have the same tendancy to leak as the main two on top? 
Could this be where my leak problem is or should I count on changing my
waterpump? I know that other waterpumps have a hole in the bottom,
like a drain hole, that will leak when a waterpump goes. Sort of an
indicator. Does a deloreans waterpump have the same feature? Thanks
