[DML] LIFT-O-MAT GAS STRUTS STILL EXIST!

Today I saw a Toyota combi-car with gas struts. I passed by as the owner 
opened the hatch.

Instantly I noticed the white lettering LIFT-O-MAT!!!!

I asked him where he had gotten these particular struts, (the car was a 1993 
model) and he told me that his brother worked for a major importer of car 
parts and was able to get a set of struts.

The struts were "Made in Germany". I asked him when he had changed the 
struts from the original Toyota struts to the new LIFT-O-MATS... He answered 
since about 2 months...

At that point I knew that the original DeLorean struts are still being 
produced and that the brand is still alive!!

Of course he asked me why the "#%¤& I was interested in gas struts!!! I told 
him about the DeLorean, and he had of course heard of the car because of the 
Back to the Future movies.

My point is:
1) I have heard from several that original LIFT-O-MAT gas struts are no 
longer available. THIS IS NOT TRUE! The interesting part here is whether 
they produce gas struts with the right pressure for the DeLorean.

2) Where can you get LIFT-O-MAT gas struts?

PLEASE can the GERMAN DeLorean Owners help out here for the benefit of all 
those who would like original DeLorean gas struts.
