Marc, does your car have the original catalytic converter on it? If so, replace
it, you'll be amazed at the difference in the hydrocarbon readings after you
do. Disconnecting equipment will cause you more grief than it's worth, they were
put in there for a reason. You don't say which state you live in but having
lived in and around Stone Mountain, Georgia for ten years I've had the go around
of getting cars to pass the emmisions test, Good Ruck!
