[DML] rear ground clearance

Can you tell me the correct ground clearance for the front and rear of the
car? I have read that the rear is 6.1 inches and 6.87 inches. I had new
tires put on the car and was told by the installer that the car was an inch
low in the rear (5.8 inches). When you set in the drivers seat and look at
the rear view mirror you see more of the headlinner than the read window. As
this is my first D and I have not been around any before so I do not know if
this is "normal" From the outside the car looks like it is setting
correctly. I have head stories about cutting the rear springs and moving
them to the front etc. Any help would be appreciated.
