[DML] How many DeLoreans are left in the world?

Hello,
Does anyone know exactly how many DeLoreans are left in the world?
Would it be possible to make a survey among the insurance companies?
Or in a database of registered vehicles?

I guess the major parts suppliers will have nearly all that info. How about 
making this info available? In Norway we have lots of carclubs that publish 
registry info on special car. The important thing is that such a registry 
only contains info on the special cars,and NOT the owners or whereabouts.

The way I see it, if the goal is to boost the DeLoreans' value, then this 
info is of major importance.
