Technical question???

How come I can never open a download from dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxx I have a 
fairly new HP pentium with most Microsoft programs, PhotoShop, Kodak & 
Polaroid software but I can never open a DMC download. What am I doing 
wrong, or what program should I get to open them? Thank You.
