Nigel,
I would guess (but don't know for sure) that you could convert one of the
"blanks" next to the window swithches into a working switch. I would try
getting another rear defroster switch (since this has distinct on/off
positions), and see if you can get it to work in either the far right or far
left slot.
If you attempt this, let me know if it works....

A question for all UK D owners.
We have to fit a high intensity rear fog light to meet current MOT standards.
Altering the rear lights is not a problem, but finding a switch to operate
the lights from the interior that doesn't look out of place is.
What sort of switches have people used, have they been 'borrowed' from any
particular car?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
