Actually you are right on some parts,the wiring is typical 80's British,but 
from a mechanical standpoint it is relatively simple compared to the year 
2000 cars,if you have any decent mechanical abilities,any DIY's with a DECENT 
set of metric tools could work on the mechanical parts on the Delorean.
