Gus,
There is a section of freon line that rubs against the fiberglass under
body that will eventually cut a hole into the line. If this has happened it
would explain a sudden loss of freon. You will need to either bypass the
low pressure cut off switch or pressure test the freon line to determine if
a refrigerant loss is the cause of your problem.
