Gary, The DeLorean suspension and steering system will perform best when adjustments are within a very narrow range of the specified tolerances. The 'on the car spin balance" is a more conclusive procedure. The standard, Pep Boys, type computer balance procedures balance the tire to the wheel. The "on the car spin balance" the wheels to the body. In more simple terms, the on the car spin balance system greatly reduces the common situation of taking your DeLorean into the alignment shop and quickly returning as soon as you drive at speed when you discover that you get wheel shimmy and or body vibration at certain speeds. A front and rear alignment is highly recommended when ever you replace the tires on your DeLorean.
