I'll try the Stop-Leak...it's a pretty hefty leak but I've heard stories of miracles performed by that stuff (even back when it was "chunky style"). It can't hurt to try, right?
I think the miles are authentic. In fact, from looking at the car it's hard to believe it has that many miles. The original owner used it as a daily driver in heavy urban traffic, and the second owner drove it almost never and did little in the way of maintenance. I've wanted to do something withthe engine ever since I got it, but anything I can do to postpone that fora few months is welcome.

you may be looking at an engine overhaul. It's not the water pump or oil
leak that concerns me it's is the blue smoke. It seems a little premature
that at 100K mi. you have developed this condition, on the other hand its
possible that due to aninoperative speedo angle drive and other unknown
engine history you may have a lot more engine ware than we realize.
A temporary fix for yourwater pump leak is the use of "stop leak". Go to
your local auto supply store or auto department (Wal-Mart, K-Mart) and
purchase Bars stop leak. Follow the directions and your pump leak should
cease.
