[DML] D repairs in MO

Hi -- am looking into purchasing a D in Missouri, to bring to New Jersey. 
Can you recommend any capable DeLorean mechanics in the mid-Missouri area? 
The car has been used as a daily driver until last Fall. Has about 40,000 
miles estimated... bad odometer. Can be driven to St. Louis or Kansas City, 
but I hate to drive halfway across the country at highway speeds in an 
un-checked car. Especially since I haven't touched a stick shift in 10 
years. (And that was a pretty rough experience in a rented car in England.) 
I have driven cross country twice, but that was in a Neon, with a co-driver. 
Anything in particular I should have the mechanic take a look at? Any 
particular hazards to avoid? Any other comments? Like, am I crazy? Maybe! 
I figure I'll leave the car with the mechanic to work on then fly back a few 
weeks later to collect it. ---- waernst@xxxx
