RE: [DML] steering rack

Marvin,

You are absolutely right that a rebuilt rack should not wear out that fast.
We remanufacture what I believe to be the highest quality DeLorean racks
available and have supplied racks to people in similar situations as yours
with favorable results. Our only problem currently is getting usable cores
and if anyone has any worn racks they would like to sell let me know. This
situation will improve with the arrival of new rack bars in a week or so.

Subject: [DML] steering rack

Before the Tennessee trip, on checking my car, with only 51,000 kms,
(approx.35,000 miles) I have discovered that it needs yet another steering
rack replaced or rebuilt. There was one replaced at about 30,000 kms, before
I bought it.

This car could have gone to Pigeon Forge, a 775 mile drive, as a serious
potential accident, looking for a happening.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
