Martin, I agree with you that there are too few D owners who a willing to make this upgrade. Clearly, it is a "factory" PRV engine. There are a number of factors that are in involved: I don't know if this engine is emission compliant. This a big problem is some parts of the US. On the other hand, There are only a few D owners who really are experienced and comfortable with working on their cars. There are even fewer owners, who have the ability to deal with significant issues like turbos and 3 liter conversions. This means that most D owners would need a mechanic who is capable of maintaining and fixing these turbo engines. With DMCH expanding their repair network, this capability may be possible in the far future. What would be essential to this, is the availability of parts for maintenance and service. Needless to say, parts availability for an "alpine turbo" engine in the US is near zero. If you were to source these parts and make them readily available, that might help. Clearly, what you have done with your D is fantastic and worthwhile upgrade. Bob Yahoo!
