Bob, This kind of sounds like when the Corvette first came out, except the first two years of sales was much, much lower (total 183 sold in '53, total 2600 sold in '54) than the Delorean. GM kept peaking and tweaking, year after year, and eventually had a winner on their hands. Too bad John Z. wasn't able to do the same thing!!
