Dang Walt, Seems like you just have bad luck. I bought a rebuilt fuel dizzy from John and -reman- injectors and I have neither leaks, nor drips, nor incorrect opening times or spray patterns. I agree that the drip indicates a stuck plunger in the dizzy. The late opening I thought would be a bad spring in the individual injector. I would think that a drip every 5/10 seconds wouldn't be a big deal but I guess you don't drop down to rest pressure fast enough otherwise you'd get less fuel than 10mL. As far as fuel in the oil pan goes, yeah I had -bad- problems with that. It washed out my engine so thoroughly that when I drained the pan to do the head gasket job, the oil pump totally drained out and caused my "no start" situation. The pump needed priming. I suspect I ran it that what before I did the gasket job and didn't know it. All I checked was that the fluid was correct level. My car didn't explode though. The upshot is, I'll bet the guts of my engine are squeaky clean because let me tell you, I've drained the newer oil I put in looking for coolant leaks, and it came out pure and golden.
