>A hundred thousand dollars? Is that all? When you say swap for my >3-rotor, do you mean three rotary rotors or the rest of the car too? Maybe less than a hundred thousand, make me an offer ;) Actually, I will swap for your car, if you remove the rotors, and give me the car with the engine intact, minus the rotors. I don't want those. >Speaking of which, I've been unsuccessful in selling the 3-rotor at MY >price, and since I really can't afford to keep it and have bills to pay, >I'm selling it to the highest offer regardless of price. It's definitely >going to go in the next 2 weeks. I'll put your offer in as "the new elmo >with a broken back". What happened to the old elmo? whose car was that? As I am sure you know, it is usually more difficult to sell a one-off custom conversion like yours but I am surprised you haven't sold it yet. Have you tried advertising in any high-profile markets like maybe the DuPont Registry or something like that? I saw your car on eBay, but as someone else on here said, eBay is more like a feeding frenzy for cheap deals. Oh, and I have no idea what the Elmo car is. >Your car was hit at the front, back, and side all at the same time??? >What sucky luck! Does an accident make the seats fall apart? The >fusebox melt!! >From what he said, he was hit in the passenger door which caused him to run off the road, ending up with all of the current body damage on the car. I am guessing the stress of the accident caused his fingers to rip the steering wheel, and the severe puckering of his ass damaged the seats, but I am only guessing. >Oh wait, I think i remember now, I said "you couldn't pay me to take it" >(no offense). I have already been up to my eyes in Delorean parts, and >the pain of restoring the car is not worth the "investment" to me. Maybe >some people feel it's an accomplishment to rebuilt a car, or maybe that >it's fun and worth the $ to have the know-how. Apparently I don't fall >in this group, maybe because I didn't know how much work my car was going >to be to fix. This was due to one dishonest and downright mean seller, >and me just being a little naive. Yep, see you were there, and I remember you saying that. I also remember some of us telling you that it was the pursuit, not the end product. You then yelled at me by saying, "_HOW_COULD_I_FORGET_" and I haven't been the same since. Greg Yahoo!
