In the process of removing my front spoiler, a couple of the nuts refused to budge (even after a good week's worth of soaking in Liquid Wrench) and snapped the studs off. I know this is a relatively common occurrence with these studs, so I'm neither particularly worried nor upset about it. I do have two questions, however: 1. What's the best way to get the stud plates out of the spoiler? The broken ones snapped off fairly flush with the edge of the spoiler, so there's not really anything sticking up out of the plastic. 2. Has anyone removed the stud plates, drilled holes in their place, and used regular bolts instead of the embedded studs to hold the spoiler to the front fascia? Would you consider it a successful alternative? Thanks! --Josh #5553 Yahoo!
