Hi 

I went for a standard UK battery and simply bought some new screw on 
connectors available from any local car shop, this i know has been 
done by many a d owner, its far easier and cheaper than sourcing a 
US style battery, 'some' might argue about keeping this 'as stock' 
but i thought hey its only a battery in the battery compartment and 
its far easier to replace in the future. Mine fits great, just take 
the compartment size and the battery size to any local shop, i had 
no trouble getting one to fit.
