Not sure if someone already mentioned this or not, but try checking that your frequency valve is operating. The symptoms you describe almost exactly match a situation that I had: hard to start, rough/rocky idle, and applying any sort of pedal would cause the RPMs to drop like a brick before the engine stalled out. I thought it might be bad gas or a host of other things. In the end, I found out the contacts on the electrical connector for my frequency valve were corroded to the point that the valve was no longer receiving power and therefore no longer properly adjusting the air/fuel mixture. I cleaned the contacts up, threw on a dab of dieletric grease, and she fired right up. -Kevin VIN 2234 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
