I think there are "home fill stations" you can buy/build. I heard prices of $2000 to do it. Considering you would have LESS power on CNG, and have to fill up more often, and (DeLorean specific) be giving up lots of space for tanks, I don't think it is practical. It would take a long time to recoup the expenses, unless you use the DMC as a daily driver. Long trips would require proper planning for CNG fillup. --- On Wed, 2/29/12, Justin Mettee <jamettee@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Justin Mettee <jamettee@xxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [DML] Anyone ever convert to CNG? > To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Wednesday, February 29, 2012, 5:43 AM > Hearing more about conversion kits > for cars to run off of compressed natural gas, I'm wondering > if anyone has done a conversion to their DMC or their daily > driver? > > I don't know much about what is involved (yet), but the few > kits I see on the internet look a relatively minor update to > the vehicle.
