Josh... In this age of computers it seems strange that Directors without access to at least an e-mail account are still on the Board. The first thing that the DOA should do is re-write the Directors requirements. A computer is a necessity, not a luxury in this day in age and should be a requirement for a member of the DOA. I've never seen a set of by-laws for the BOA and that should be something that is available to members. I would like to see an audit of all the financial records for the last 10 years. Actually it might be easier to scrap the DOA and create a new organization. What State was the DOA incorporated in? I speak from experience. From 1994 to 1996 I was the National President of the 75th Ranger Regiment Assocation Inc. When I was elected in 1994 there were just a few computers owned by different members and nothing was connected. When I left in 1996 we had only 2 directors out of 14 without computers and we were all connected by the web. Now the members, officers and Board of Directors are all computor savy and connected. It truelly makes it a world wide organization that run smoothly. Kevin, Yes, this is the same debate we seem doomed to continue until the end of time, unless we do something about it. Yes, I understand that your point is that you don't see the value in having a national organization for the DeLorean automobile anymore, because the internet forums provide the same thing one would get from these types of communities, but for free.
